My plan for today was to decorate for Fall but this morning when I was getting Kelan dressed I told him our plans and Janie heard me and begged me to wait for her. So I decided Kelan and I could go to a fun lunch somewhere different and yummy. First we checked out the mall by our house and then shared a salad at Cheesecake Factory. We talked about our favorite movies, Halloween, living in Arizona, California etc. I told our waiter I was on a hot date so Kelan could order whatever drink he wanted (he chose root beer). When it came time to pay the waiter gave Kelan the check and told him that since he was the boy he was surely going to pay. Kelan looked up at him and said
"I am NOT a paying kid."
